Job Description:
The Trades and Manufacturing Programs Instructor would instruct students in trade areas ranging from CNC Machining, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Advanced Manufacturing, Building Maintenance and Welding. Programs are determined at Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development through employer-driven openings in high demand occupations in the Western New York area.
The Trades and Manufacturing Programs Instructor applies their knowledge and incorporates those skills into teaching the students the theory and hands-on skills in the specific trade area.
- Provide a satisfactory education in trades and manufacturing instruction for aspiring students.
- Teach students modern concepts and techniques in the specific trade area.
- Lead and manage the students in direct learning activities in the classroom and the trade lab.
- Maintain professionalism at all times.
