Hourly Rate:
$32.38/hr PLUS generous benefits package
Annual Education Stipends:

Job Description:
The Project and Configuration Support Specialist (MCDSS) serves as a cross-functional team member supporting project managers, configuration staff, and account advisors within the WNYRIC and Erie 1 BOCES. This individual will learn and assist with the end-to-end project management and configuration processes for district-facing implementations. They will collaborate with school districts, internal BOCES and WNYRIC teams, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and service continuity, especially during staff absences to maintain uninterrupted project progress.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and proactive. They are skilled in building and maintaining relationships with districts, vendors, and internal staff. They demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen carefully, problem-solve efficiently, and connect people and processes effectively. Attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to navigate complex project environments are essential.
The Technology Services MCDSS will serve multiple school districts in the five geographical regions served by the WNYRIC.

Specific Responsibilities:
Minimum Civil Service Qualifications:
A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of data processing experience in vendor supplied operating systems software programming and/or maintenance; OR;
B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two (2) or four (4) year college or university with an Associate’s degree in Data Processing, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and four (3) years of data processing experience in vendor supplied operating systems software programming and/or maintenance; OR;
C) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and six (5) years of data processing experience, at least three (3) years of which involved computer programming with at least two (2) years in vendor supplied operating systems software programming and/or maintenance; OR;
D) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C).
