Extended School Year Locations: 
North Site - Transit Middle (Williamsville CSD - 8730 Transit Road, East Amherst, NY 14051)
Central Site - Northtowns Academy (Erie 1 BOCES - 333 Dexter Terrace, Tonawanda NY 14150)
South Site - Maryvale Middle (Maryvale UFSD - 1050 Maryvale Drive, Cheektowaga, NY 14225)

Duration: 6 weeks
July 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026
July 1, 2025 - July 2, 2026 - Set-up days for all programs (Staff attendance required)



NOTE:   All employees are expected to work the full duration of the Summer Program (6 weeks)

Hours:                        
8:00AM – 2:30PM

 

Job Responsibilities: 
Assist the supervisory staff in organizing and operating the Summer Programs for Students with Disabilities

Job Qualifications
  • New York State Teacher Certification in Special Education or a New York State License in appropriate area of service

  • At least one (1) year of experience in the Erie 1 BOCES Summer Program desired

  • Trained in Crisis Intervention and be able to perform physical restraints

  • Ability to work with staff in problem solving situations

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Monday, March 30th from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Saturday, April 11th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Saturday, May 9th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
