Summer Vacancy Locations:
Harkness Career & Technical Education Center - Cheektowaga, NY
Kenton Career & Technical Education Center - Tonawanda, NY
Potter Career & Technical Education Center - West Seneca, NY 

Hourly Rate:       
$18.60 for 6/15-2026-6/30/2026
$19.00 as of 7/1/2026

Hours: 
8:00AM – 4:00PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning floors by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, or scrubbing
• Cleaning and shampooing rugs/carpets
• Removing spots/graffiti from floors, walls, woodwork, furniture, carpets, and fixtures
• Cleaning, dusting, and polishing woodwork, furniture, glass, etc
• Washing/scrubbing walls, lavatory fixtures, windows, drinking fountains, drains, lights, and painted surfaces
• Servicing soap/towel dispensers and similar containers
• Emptying/cleaning wastepaper baskets and other refuse containers
• Cleaning marker boards, trays, and erasers
• Moving/adjusting chairs, desks, tables, supplies, furniture, and equipment
• Operating power sweepers, polishers, and other equipment
• May be required to move or assemble/disassemble furniture, equipment, etc
• May assist other crafts in emergencies or as needs arise
• Conforming to safety standards

Job Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, stand and work for extended periods

• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle supplies
