Hours: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, implementation and management of special education summer school programs for students with disabilities, related areas, and other duties as assigned. The Summer School principal will be contracted under an Individual Employment Agreement (IEA) from April-June for the purposes of planning and faculty/staff recruitment and hiring for a specified number of hours during this period, and will be employed by Board of Education appointment for July and August 2026.
Must hold NYS School Building Leader Certification or equivalent
NYS Teaching Certification in Special Education Teacher preferred
Relevant experience working with students with disabilities and in leadership roles
Must be flexible and highly organized
Must have exceptional communication and people skills
Must be a skilled problem solver
