Erie 1 BOCES is looking for a skilled copy machine operator to join our team on a temporary/as needed basis to assist with the copy and binary work of school related materials. This position also makes the employee eligible to join the New York State and Local Retirement System.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receives various materials to be duplicated such as forms, reports, booklets, bulletins or manuals at the highest quality levels possible in a timely manner. 
  • Prepares and operates Konica-Minolta or other high speed duplicating machines.
  • Monitors and coordinates jobs networked to the duplicating machine.
  • May assist with various pieces of production equipment including the paper cutter, hole puncher, padding, bindery, stitcher, trimmer, stapler, collator and folder.
  • Requisitions and stores paper and copier supplies.
  • Makes minor adjustments and repairs to machine; reports major repairs to department head.
  • Keeps equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
  • Maintains inventory as assigned.
  • Maintains electronic files of jobs.
  • Prepares internal and external billing of copier requests necessary for reporting or referencing.
  • Bends, lifts, moves boxes, paper, and packaged product (up to approximately 40#).
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
$18.00/hr
