We are always looking for great instructors for our Workforce Development courses! Job Description: The Literacy Instructor provides GED or ESL instruction for adult students. The GED instructor will provide lessons in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies to prepare students to earn the GED credential. The ESL instructor will provide English lessons to help students whose primary language is not English improve their verbal and written communication skills. Lead and manage the students in direct learning activities in the classroom Utilize best practices to teach students in the specific literacy area to achieve New York state measurable benchmarks Participate in required departmental meetings and professional development training Maintain professionalism at all time	$30/hr
Instructor, HVAC	07302024	Locations: Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development Center Cheektowaga, NY Hourly Rate: $31/hr Part time, 2-4 days per week Day and Evening hours available, choose your schedule! We are always looking for great instructors for our Workforce Development courses! Job Description: This position will support the lead instructor in the classroom and lab as needed. Qualified candidates should have a good understanding of heating and cooling principals, electrical theory, common tools/equipment/materials used in the service and repair of HVAC equipment, and basic sheet metal/duct work fabrication. Qualified applicants will be able to conduct training in a classroom setting and in a working lab.	$31/hr
Instructor, CNC Machining 07302024	07302024	Locations: Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development Center Cheektowaga, NY Hourly Rate: $31/hr Part time, 2-4 days per week Day and Evening hours available, choose your schedule! We are always looking for great instructors for our Workforce Development courses! Job Description: Instructor will train adult students on the safe use of manual and CNC equipment. Candidates should be comfortable using computer-based training tools. Students spend approximately 1/3 of the class working with Fanuc-based CNC simulators. The CNC operator course is intended to train for entry-level positions. Individuals with manual and CNC experience at all levels are encouraged to apply.	$31/hr
LPN Instructor (RN), Part-Time	07192023	Locations: Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development Center and Clinical Locations Cheektowaga, NY Hourly Rate: $33/hr Day & Evening hours available-You choose! Create your teaching schedule. Part Time, 2-4 days per week We are always looking for great RN instructors to train the LPN classes we hold throughout the year. Job Description: The LPN instructor is a Registered Nurse who instructs students on how to become a successful Licensed Practical Nurse. You would apply your knowledge as an RN and incorporate those skills into teaching into the LPN coursework. They also avail limited privileges, but in general, the instructor is the one who evaluates the knowledge and skills of the students on the LPN course. The instructor guides and encourages the students to achieve a higher license or rating and make a profession as an LPN. Job Responsibilities:** Provide satisfactory education and nursing instruction for aspiring students. Teach students modern concepts and techniques in the field of nurses. Lead and manage the students and do direct learning activities in the classroom. Maintain the level of professionalism at all times.	$33/hr
