Job Responsibilities:

  • Track and reconcile district usage for various Technology services through excel worksheets and WinCap, process billing as required
  • Request service adjustments for various Technology services and review budget
  • Process service adjustments and billing for various departments in Technology
  • Process second year costs per Account Advisors
  • Create and process budget amendments as necessary
  • Track processing of all billing and budget amendments
  • Invoice internal divisions for Internal Charges
  • Track expenditures for grants and process invoice to the state
  • Reviews, prepares and processes internal purchase order requisitions in Technology Services division.
  • Maintains purchase order files online and obtains approvals to receive all invoices for payments with AP.
  • Investigates all issues internally and with vendors related to PO's and invoices.
  • Reconcile revenue reports
  • Reconcile SAA/MAA letters monthly
  • Process weekly UPS invoice and monthly Verizon invoice
  • Process vendor billing
  • Assist with entry of new year pricing
  • Order department supplies when requested
  • Occasional front desk coverage

Job Responsibilities:

The Operations Communications Coordinator is the initial point of contact for all incoming technical support issues and correctly opens and tracks tickets for each issue and ensuring the user is transferred to the correct department for all higher-level issues; Acts as liaison between communications users and the data processing department to obtain information necessary for system software modification when communication and terminal equipment is installed; Installs and/or assists in the installation of communication equipment, terminal equipment, micro based equipment, and software; Performs basic troubleshooting procedures on communication lines, communication, terminal and micro based equipment; Trains users in the operation of remote terminal site equipment; Maintains records that are necessary for determining maintenance, operating efficiency and cost; Tracks assigned tickets and will ensure updates provided by vendors or other sources are entered correctly.

  1. Assists with development of new and maintaining existing documented procedure to improve networking, communications and customer service.
  2. Assists in training other service desk staff in carrying out their assignments.
  3. Develops documentation and procedures that is shared with the teams to assist customers.
  4. Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains contracted hardware and software. Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds.
  5. Coordinates repairs with vendors and installs equipment as requested by customers and second level service desk support.
  6. Logs and maintains electronic database of district purchased and service desk disbursed repair services.
  7. Logs problems into electronic ticketing system to assist with problem determination and resolution. Refer unresolved tickets to second level service desk.
  8. Provides technical assistance to our customers via telephone, email, remote access, text messaging and collaborative virtual environments to resolve their issues as promptly as possible.
  9. Monitors LAN/WAN hardware and software including but not limited to VoIP, firewalls, switches and filtering equipment. If necessary, refers to second level service desk to determine appropriate vendor to contact or for corrective action.
  10. Maintains up-to-date electronic documentation of all computer equipment that will be maintained by the service desk.
  11. Maintains daily and historical database of all problems related to various equipment and/or installations to assist with problem determination.
  12. Maintains network related software including but not limited to VPN, VoIP, Content Filtering, Firewalls, wireless management, switches and routers.
  13. Trains district personnel in proper procedures for diagnostics and operations of computer and LAN/WAN equipment.
  14. Sends immediate notifications of outages or maintenance to employees and customers when relevant.
  15. Travels to building sites where students, teachers and administrators are present as needed, must hold a valid driver license.
  16. Provides off-hour coverage as requested.

Job Responsibilities:

The Stores Clerk is responsible for receiving, checking-in, storing, and preparing for delivery, supplies and equipment in the Central Installation Services warehouse. The position includes the performance of routine tasks with limited independent judgment and requires ability to make routine arithmetic computations.

Specific Duties:

Project Hardware/Software Inventory

  • Load and unload delivery trucks for the CIS warehouse.
  • Perform routine maintenance and may make minor repairs to equipment
  • Fill requisitions and deliver orders to appropriate department
  • Assist with all issues relating to delivery, receipt, staging, and shipment of technology and supply items
  • Provide Principal Stores Clerk and other RIC staff with timely information regarding hardware/software status, as needed
  • Process surplus equipment including storage, inventory, packaging, and redeployment, as per specified policies
  • Move and deliver furniture, as needed
  • Barcode incoming shipments
  • Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, and lift truck to arrange stock inwarehouse
  • Provide timely staging of items according to project schedules
  • Maintain proper accounting, storage, inventory, and security of all such items
  • Move warehouse stock as necessary

District Supplies Inventory

  • Assist with UPS, couriers, and mail shipments, as required (includes lifting)
  • Assist with all issues relating to delivery, receipt, staging, and shipment of supply items
  • Work to insure timely delivery of supplies to districts
  • Maintain proper accounting, storage, inventory, and security of all such items
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to meet district needs
  • Fill supply orders, as requested
  • Unpack boxes and crates, as required
  • Sorts and stores supplies

General Duties

  • Function as driver/messenger, as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned that are relevant to the civil service job description for this title
  • Suggest changes to internal procedures to promote optimal efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Adhere to the Project Tracking and Management Procedure
  • Lift and carry loads up to 75 lbs.
